Boredom in the AM

So basically it is 1:14am (by the time I finish writing this it will be later but screw the specifics) and I am just a bit bored... So I decided to do a bit of blogging (mainly before uni starts cause I don't want to interfere with my buds Mark and David's education)..

So yeah, whats happening lately huh? Seems to be a lot..

Well, I moved to Adelaide for one.. It is quite amazing.. And quite cold, usually, I have endured almost 0 degree temperatures, hail, thunderstorms, excessive wind and surprisingly it got hot one day.. I will admit, I miss Cairns purely for the fact that the weather is predictable!! Whilst Adelaide is wonderous I do miss having friends around that I can visit whenever.. Making new friends has proved quite difficult seeing as all I do is work and cadets.. Especially cause I don't really want to be friends with the people at my work.. Then there is cadets.. Well there has always been problems with me getting along and playing nice with people at cadets but OH WELL!! Most importantly I am now a few states away from my bestest friend in the entire world Rachhy and that is taking its toll :(

I start uni on the 26th.. Studying Commerce and I know there are a few who thing its a bludge course, but I had a look through the Business Statistics textbooks and FAARRKKKK the amount of ridiculously long equations equal my brain all melty... But yeah, should be good, only have to go down the hill on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays :) Pretty keen for Commercial Law!!

Been counting down the days til I turn 18 currently I have 103 days left.. Haha!! TOO LONG!!

I have my tickets to Soundwave Revolution on October 1st at the Adelaide Showgrounds.. I cannot explain how excited I am to see Panic! At the Disco!! They have been my favourite band since yr 8 and its just soooo amazing, they are just sooo amazing :) AHHHHHHHHH!!! Brendon Urie <3 hehe

Hmm, I guess I am a bit tired now (I used all my energy to get my brain to function)..

Secret to Procrastination

I have recently talked to one of my school friends and he informed me that he is very glad that I started posting again. Simply because he finds my posts amusing and they provide a form of procrastination. So Mark, here starts my disruption of your university education (LOL).

Apparently, quite a few things have happened in the past few weeks. I finally stopped trying to enjoy living in Cairns and accepted that I need to move. So I'm heading off to major city land, Adelaide. And in turn moving back in with my parents. Never ever ever did I imagine myself actually doing this and for a week I was quite disappointed with myself. All was settled though when an extremely drunk female told me that it was okay, at least I am not like her and still live with my parents at 27. Lets hope that doesn't happen.

Also, most of you are aware that my dream career has been an officer in the ADF, right? Yeah well I went for my Assessment Day in Townsville, got through all my interviews, psych tests and everything, I was even recommended for Officer Selection Board by my interviewer. Only to be told after waiting around in a super cold room that my eyesight isn't good enough. Not even good enough for a desk job. It was hell. 

...Rebuilding a dream is tough work, but I will get there...

When in high school, you think that you and your friends will be friends forever. You will catch up all the time, go to parties together and nothing will change. Unfortunately, your wrong. Lucky for me, I got to catch up with two of my favourite grade 12 friends David and Mark, oh as well as John (that kid who was MEAN'T to be in grade 12 but decided to spent a year in Canada and get into all kinds of mischief and came back to Australia to find out he has to complete grade 11).. It was an enjoyable night consisting of curry from Mother India (Butter Chicken is awesome) and a few laughs at Scream 4. I do believe all of us (including the pansy Mark) thought Scream 4 was a completely ridiculous movie, honestly the characters just wouldn't die... They totally dragged the story wayyyy too far!! Oh wells.

Oh yeah, and I have a block fringe. Just saying :)

Anti-friend

Sooo, I recently found out that one of my supposedly 'close' school friends deleted me as a friend on Facebook. At first I was all like oh yeah, probably an accident, she most likely doesn't even realise she deleted me. So I re-added her. A few days later I decided to have a squizz to see if she had accepted my request and well no she hadn't. AND HER DP WAS DIFFERENT!!! So she had obviously been on Facebook and seen my friend request and ignored it... WTS!?!?!? 

I like to believe that my witty, sarcastic and occasionally offensive status updates and comments are a decent contribution to Facebook society. And I also like to believe that they provide amusement to those who, like me, have nothing better to do with themselves but sit on the internet 24/7.

So basically, its been about a month and a bit since I re-added her and nothing has happened, I even sent her a message the other day. No reply. What a bitch. 

LONG OVERDUE

Much like getting my eyebrows waxed and that library book I still have, a new blog post is WAYYYYY overdue ... Much has happened since I last blogged which was Term 3 2010.. Shock!

I finished year 12 and in turn the entirety of secondary schooling.
I am almost finished getting myself into ADFA.
I'm newly single.
I'm a self proclaimed cadet-a-holic.. ( I always have been but now that I can't cover it up with school I'm realising how much time I put into that organisation
I have two new jobs Grill'd and T-Bar.. I love them both - t-shirts and burgers HUZZAH!!
I have an i-Phone cause I'm just that cool (bonus-bonus I don't have to pay the bills!!!)
I no longer live at home - my parents move to Adelaide (so in a way they moved out on me)
While the traditional name for my place is 529, I like to break the norm and call it NARNIA.
I finished collecting all of the Red Dwarf DVDs!! HOORAYYY!!
I have a more close connection with Captain Jack Sparrow and his question "Why is the rum always gone?", cause after an eventful night at the beach that has become my new saying.
70% of my social life is on Facebook.
All my jokes come from either Scrubs or YouTube.
And my originality is at an all time low.
I bought a unicorn bag and a shoe bag as well as too many t-shirts.
I threw out an old pair of connies, which have been a good friend to me, but were really super mega dead. (aka - holes, worn out bottom of shoe, lost the thin line of rubber around base and I can put stuff underneath the rubber toe bit) - oh and I almost cried when I dropped them into the bin.
I have a new obsession with tuna - but I refuse to eat it in sushi.
I dropped down a bra size (I dont know if this is relevant in any way)
I have a new pair of cadet boots which i am in the process of shining.
I have become a green freak - carbon footprint hello?
I'm slowly learning that if you don't have a drier you NEED to wash your clothes at least 1 day before you want to wear them.
My hair is now mid way down my back (BIGGG IMPROVEMENT FROM BUZZ CUT BORDERLINING BALD)
I own too many pairs of denim shorts (what? they go with everything)
I have stopped hoarding things.. I'm now a bare-minimalist (unless you include clothes)
I haven't seen friends from school in months.
I'm on dawn service guard again :) second year in a row bro!!
Today was the first time I have drunken coffee in about 2 weeks.. All time records.
Not having aircon is AWESOME!!!
Sunbus is stupid and unreliable!!
I have also realised that I REALLY REALLY REALLY want my P plates..
Brushing your hair is not essential.. After misplacing my brush for 4 days I realised that my hair looks better when it's not brushed..

Just Before School Starts Again :)

REOWRR -- REOWR -- REOWRRRRRRR
Guess what all you tunerinererss!!! Tis the last day of the holidays!!!
YES! I know that it means school is back on.
YES! I know it means i have to wake up before 1pm.
YES! I know it means i can't go on facebook everyday.
YES! I know it means i will have assignments to do.
YES! I know i shouldn't be happy... BUT I AM!!!
For me, it means that I get to see my friends everyday, indulge in my foccacia rolls (chicken, avocado, mayo and lettuce -- YUMM), wear my senior shirt with pride, attend uber fun art lessons and bask in how much of a genius i am in Maths A.
It is also the LAST serious term of my secondary school education. So goodbye hypocritical, stereotypical and judgemental teenagers -- helllooooo ADFA!!


Seriously, I have been doing like nothing this holidays. I guess I did go out to the movies to see 'Get him to the Greek' with PGC, the 'Twi-athon' with my mum and hannah, 'Eclipse' with the girls and 'Eclipse' again with mummy (yes i saw eclipse 3 times shush). I also went out with David, Mark, Chloe, Nataliee and John for Cactus Jacks and A-Team. Also shopping with Shani and Emma, horror movie night over at Chloe's place and my brother's birthday party... Hmm, I guess I did actually do a fair bit haha.


A few bad things about this term are that I have an art major, biology report and a legal studies exam with in the first two weeks. A 5000 word legal studies exam for the term, a maths exam, most likely another biology assignment, a health assignment, a religion assignment, an art major aaannd a art assignment as well as a bunch of english stuff. AND WORST OF ALL, QCS!!! Arghhhh!!!!


Next wednesday, I have a recruitng interview which pretty much tells me if I am smart enough to get into ADFA... Uber nervous :/


I don't really know what else to report on, soooooo... I'M OFF!!!

A QUICK QUICK QUICK UPDATE :D

Oh okay, wells this is just a really quick update!!
I'm pretty excited about school on Monday, the school bell is being changed into the song 'Telephone' By Lady Gaga.. So yeah fun dance time for Shani, Cassie and I!! OMG I WILL HAVE TO TEACH EVERYONE THE DANCE!!!! Okiiii, annd next weekend CHOIR CAMP!! So excited. But not too excited about the whole no reception thing :(

I havent really done much since I posted last. I sat a practice QCS exam and got a B which I'm pretty stoked about (aiming for an A now). I've thought of an awesome new art major idea so fingers crossed for a good mark!! Ummm, I am currently writing a story about the EPIC war between the tumbleweeds and tree nymphs, which will be posted to this blog once finished. And again the search for my sanity has failed and I can't help but feel that the hole in my mind is slowly becoming wider.. BUT ANYWAYSSS

Oh look!!! The letter 'A'...

HEYS ALL!!!
I know, I know, it has been so long since I have posted a new blog post thingy, please don't hate me TOO much. Well, lets get down to business!!

Last week was MUSICAL WEEK!! The fab Viva Mexico family and I spent the entire week at the Civic Theatre getting ready for 4 sensational performances (I think it is slightly too late to start promoting the musical lol). Anywayss, we all heard heaps and heaps of great feedback from all that saw it so thanks :)... BUT I WOULD LIKE TO ASK THAT WHOEVER IT WAS THAT YELLED OUT 'NICE' WHEN WE DID THE PLIÉ IN THE AZTEC SCENE TO MAN UP, SO THAT I CAN KICK YOU IN THE CROTCH!!! Okay, annoyance slightly gone.

My favourite part of that musical was probs the time between the matinee and evening performances. They were so much fun!! Sushi, dance dance revolution, car racing, ice-cream and crazy leg-rubbing guys (Thursday). Hot Tub Time Machine and bubble tea (Friday). I totes recommend everyone to go see Hot Tub Time Machine it is one of the funniest movies I have seen (Bruno wins).

I got a new job like 3 weeks ago at Bucking Bull in Centrals. It is great and wayy better than working at Maccas (which no-one should ever do). The people are way nicer and the job is more fun (plus we sell Mountain Dew - I love Mountain Dew).

OMG, 2 and a bit more terms til I finish year 12!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, so excitedd!! FREEDOMMMM!!!! *starts singing some strange inspirational song* heh heh.... I really really can't wait until the new Nightmare On Elm Street comes out!! SO KEEN!! Who is going to come see it with me!!??  (text me).. I also kinda want to go and see When In Rome it looks pretty alright. Hmmmm, what else to write about....

So fricking HAPPYYYY!!!!

Anyywayy, my first week of school started quite well. I rocked up for school on THURSDAY ready to absorb knowledge and learn... Unfortunately nothing was learned due to it being the first day of school in fact all we did in Chemistry was play heads down thumbs up (I'm pretty hardcore at that game)... The second day was much better; doing some Calculus (maths), Practical Chemistry (with no help from David or Mark), Vocab sheets (english) AND MOREE!!!!!! ..... and then the week was over :\

Lately I have been really frustrated by people who purposely be annoying, for the sake of annoying people... I KNOW, I KNOW, I am being a bit of a hypocrite by saying this but at least I know my limits... Some people just take it wayy too far *cough*brother*cough*....
Etcetera, etcetera, yeah you all know what annoys me..

I’m really afraid of moving out of home.. If I do end up getting what I want I’m off to Canberra for ADFA, which is like ages away from home, family, friends and comfort. The fact that I know like NOONE down there is distressing, and I am going down by myself so the only support I have is over the phone.. SOO ANYONE WANNA GO TO ADFA WITH ME?? :D :D

I have become very excited about SENIOR JERSEYS... I'm like "when do they get here?? when do they get here?" Also cause I really dislike the school jumpers and the school only sells HUGE (XXXXL) cardigan thingies.. Hmmm, and I want people to know I'm a senior... cause I have endured 11 years of schooling for this privilege.. ANYYHOO, I can’t wait until SEPTEMBER, fricking SKI-TRIP *Hi-fives Shani, Cassie and Chloe* it is going to be so fun!! (and my first time out of Australia lol)...

Anyway, that is really all I wanted to splurge about.. So I guess I’m off for now.

Waiter, Waiter, Bring Me Something Stronger

Well, I thought seeing as it is the holidays and I am not going anywhere (due to my third round of grounding). I might update my blog!! Anyways, your about to be updated!! :D :D

IVORY'S DRIVING CHRONICLES
Within only 5-ish hours of driving I have successfully:

• Drove into a bin
• Almost ran over a kid on a scooter
• Performed a 3 point turn right next to a cliffy creek thing
• Almost had a head on collision with a 4-wheel-drive on a bridge
• Smashed off the review mirror of a Volvo (it was an old one)
• Drove from Gordonvale to North Innisfail
• Hit 110km/hr in a 100km/hr zone :D

Well as I said earlier I am on my third round of grounding, due to my constant breaking of grounding rules etc etc. But luckly for me, I have awesome negotiation skills that shortened it to 2 days grounding but also those 2 days without my phone... I KNOW IT'S VERY VERY SAD!!! I'm out on saturday ORGANISE SOMETHING FUN!! I did manage to score two days between the regrounding in which I stayed at my best friend ever RACHYY's house, where we went and saw New Moon for the second time.. IT'S TRUE THE MOVIE GETS BETTER EVERYTIME!!! As do Taylor Lautners Abs!!! (Alex, we tried to keep the squealing to a minimum)... Anyways, we realised that you can see Markus' ankles!! It's so weird..

I have now officially decided that I am going down to Mission Beach for New Years, so all you m-beachers FEEL PROUD!!! :D :D We are going to have an awesome time, I can't wait!!

OMGoshness, I am getting a headache.. I'm going to go now..

Too Hardcore

One Month Later

Well, well, it looks like i have abandoned my blog for what? A month? I'M SORRY YOUNG FANS!!!! Now the past month was eventful (well not for my blog lol), but for meee!! And after one month I am feeling troublesome. My mood isn't the best cause I was happy about something happening, but it just didnt. But I can hide stuff. Anyways the chemistry chair war still rages, apparently I still continue to use my mole face, I plan to aquire a group of year 8's next year and transform them into an army, I am about to finish year11, i started dancing again (it isnt as fun as my competitive dancing but currently will suffice). Well yawn i will write something longer later i just want to sleeeeeppp!!!!!!!!

 I am sick and tired of people putting pictures of themselves making out with their boyfriends/girlfriends. It is just plain gross. I'm all like hey this person has new pics, i flick through them and the next thing i see is a friend of mine sucking face with some guy/girl!! Seriously we ALL know you like each other we don't need to see the evidence on f***ing facebook!!! I'm serious the next person i see with those pictures on facebook, i will cut all ties to them and never talk to them again!! CLASS THIS AS YOUR FINAL WARNING!!!

I want to go to school tomorrow but obviously can't due to being ill, i have no appetite and the only thing that has me actually wanting to live is the fact i have lost weight. My reading of Twilight fanfiction has become beyond ridiculous and i got so bored i started looking at wedding dresses through google. To make matters worse i have a stupid yellow smiley face badge on my lamp that keeps mocking me. My rooms a mess, my face is pale and i am rapidly becoming more insane. I made a playlist on my I-Pod of the most depressing love songs i own and have had them on repeat all day. I also started reading twilight again which is marks the start of the 7th time i have read that series. I feel like eating an apple at the moment but am way too lazy to get up and get one, also the fact that it is mignight.

I have 5 days till my birthday and to tell you the truth I don't want to live those five days as a miserable sick person. Well i might as well get back to reading my twilight fanfictions that help me pass the nighttime hours. Oh yeah did i mention i am also suffering from insomnia? Well leaving now, lets hope i feel better in a few hours.

Just A Bit Sick, And I'm Not Faking It This Time

Okay, well due to popular demand I have decided to write in my weakened state (I KNOW I'M A SELL OUT). Anywayys, my week was epically eventful with my activities ranging from talking about leporosy to saying grace in front of a large amount of high ranking AAFC and RAAF staff to sitting next to a FLTLT to asking the question; Why do we have toes? and  Why do tumbleweeds like to collect them and make them into flutes?

I have successfully ignored everyone's plea for a new post until i was tempted with treats by david if i posted. GAH DAMN TEH TREATS!!! As usual i have discovered some interesting facts and since there are so many I will do the usual thing and only state five. They are as follows:
1. Shakespeare was an old, sexist, masochistic pig!
2. When Eden starts singing sunshine and lollipops run away cause i assure you, your brain will instantly melt!
3. I do not know what the word infirmaty means.
4. Burying yourself is a very bad idea
5. Wise is and always will be my BB4LYF

Lets just say that I have finally found the proof that a very large part of anthony undoubtedly likes men!!

Work, Walks and Metal Tongs

Yesterday, I had one of those life changing experiences. You know, those ones that effect the way you look at the world and the way you interpret life. Thats right my friends, I walked down the concourse to a double of sport with none other than Mark Thompson. No, he might not be world famous, or even famous in Australia. But in St Marys he is a GOD! He is most well known for his catch phrase 'Did you say... FREE?' Well, our walk was truely enlightening and has given life some meaning that I am yet to discover or make up on the spot. The walk was so inspiring and uplifting that i cannot even put it to words! Let's just say I think I have found the meaning of life. As well as discovered that jumping of the the bottom step IS NOT WORTH IT !!!

Work Sucks!!! But I am forced to do it, cause i have to save $3500 by some time for my year 12 ski trip. Hopefully I can get my dad to pay for some *fingers crossed*. I am thinking I might get a second job just for the holidays which equals more money for my shopaholic urges.

Now for the metal tongs.. ON GUARD!!! teehee... One very exciteful Chemistry lesson     :)
